Meet Barbara Quinn, MS, RD, CDE

Barbara Quinn, MS, RD, CDE is writing the new, free monthly series, Staying Healthy to Prevent Diabetes Complications, for Dance Out Diabetes.

Barbara is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey, California. She has a certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management and is a certified health and wellness coach.

Barbara writes a weekly column, ON NUTRITION, and a monthly “Health Matters” column for the Monterey County Herald www.montereyherald.com. She is the author of The Diabetes DTOUR DIET (2009) and the DTOUR Diet Cookbook (2010), Rodale Press.
