Hot Hula with Elsa Rivera! Saturday, 4/11/15, 1-3 p.m.

Elsa RiveraJoin us for Hot Hula, a total body workout inspired by dances of the Pacific Islands. It incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats fused with funky Reggae music, resulting in a modern, hip fitness workout.

For a $10 donation ($5 if you can’t afford), participants will get a $277 value health check-up at the beginning of the event. This includes blood pressure, weight, A1C test (3-month glucose average), glucose and access to certified diabetes educators.

Where: The African American Art & Culture Complex (762 Fulton Street, SF, CA 94102). Free parking.
